About Our Products
Raw & Local Honey
Our raw honey is harvested straight from our thriving hives and bottled by hand to preserve all the goodness nature intended. Unlike supermarket honey, which is often heated and filtered to the point of losing its natural qualities, our honey is unpasteurized and unfiltered — full of enzymes, pollen, antioxidants, and rich, complex flavor.
Honey is more than just a sweetener — it’s also full of health benefits. Known for its antibacterial and antioxidant properties, it can help soothe sore throats, support immune health, and even act as a natural energy boost. Every jar you buy also helps support healthy pollinators and sustainable farming right here in your community.

Queen Bees
The queen bee is the heart of every hive. She is the only bee capable of laying fertilized eggs and is responsible for keeping the entire colony cohesive and productive. A healthy, mated queen can lay up to 2,000 eggs a day during peak season and emits pheromones that keep her workers organized and motivated.
Our queen bees are bred from proven, local stock with a focus on gentle temperament, high productivity, and resistance to common diseases. Each queen is fully mated, carefully inspected, and ready to lead your hive to success. Whether you’re requeening a weak or aggressive colony, starting a new hive, or splitting an existing one, our queens provide the leadership your bees need to thrive.
When you choose a queen from Galpin Honey Farms, you’re not just buying a bee — you’re investing in the health and future of your hive.
Nucleus Colonies (Nucs)
A nucleus colony, or nuc, is a small, fully established hive that’s ready to grow as soon as you install it in your apiary. Unlike a package of bees, which must build everything from scratch and adjust to a new queen, a nuc comes with a proven, mated queen already accepted by her colony, along with worker bees, drones, and brood at all stages. It also includes food stores to help sustain the colony as it builds up.
Our nucs are raised and cared for with the same dedication we put into our production hives. They come on 4–5 deep frames and are ideal for both beginner and experienced beekeepers who want a stronger, more reliable start. Because they’re already a cohesive unit, nucs tend to grow faster and produce more honey sooner than starting from scratch — and they’re an excellent way to replace a lost colony or expand your operation.

Swarm Traps
Swarming is a natural part of a bee colony’s life cycle — but it can mean lost bees and honey if you’re not prepared. A swarm trap is a simple, effective way to capture swarms and turn them into productive hives in your own apiary.
Our swarm traps are lightweight, durable, and reusable. They’re designed to mimic the kind of enclosed space bees naturally seek when looking for a new home, increasing your chances of successfully attracting a swarm. Simply install the trap in a shaded, elevated location near your apiary or in areas where wild bees are known to frequent, and check regularly during swarm season.
Using swarm traps is a smart way to grow your operation, save lost bees, and even rescue feral colonies — without climbing ladders or chasing bees across a field.
Bulk Syrup
Honeybees work hard gathering nectar to sustain themselves — but sometimes, natural forage isn’t enough. During periods of drought, early spring before flowers bloom, or while building up before winter, your bees may need extra help. That’s where our bulk syrup comes in.
We offer high‑quality syrup in quantities to fit operations of any size. It’s a reliable, affordable way to supplement your bees’ diet and keep them healthy, strong, and productive when natural nectar is scarce. Whether you’re feeding nucs, building up production hives, or supporting late‑season splits, our syrup helps ensure your bees have the energy they need to thrive.
